“I would really recommend the group lessons I have participated in at Spring Valley Golf Club as part of the Women’s Get Into Golf Program. I feel more confident now, especially after having the opportunity to play a bit on the course.
Jake Fullerton is an excellent coach - very patient and easy to learn from. The lessons were fun, relaxed and super helpful and just the right group size! Great to be able to meet up and swap notes with others at a similar skill level, while learning lots about the game.”

“Being introduced to the art, science, joy (and occasional frustration) of golf with Jake has been invaluable! Through his Get into Golf Program, I’m learning so much and feeling far more comfortable on the course.
Each week is a real pleasure — Jake’s guidance and the small group atmosphere make it fun and motivating, and I always walk away with new skills to improve my game.”

“There isn’t a better way to get introduced to the game of golf than in one of Jake’s classes.
I’d never played golf before and decided to join one of his clinics on a whim. Now, I’m golf obsessed and practising twice a week!
Jake is super patient and always makes the sessions fun and rewarding. Class sizes are small so you can get individual feedback and build your confidence every week.”

Frequently asked questions
-
If the weather conditions are poor, I’ll be in touch with you on the day to decide whether you’d like to proceed or reschedule for another time. There are no cancellation fees for postponing due to bad weather.
-
Spring Valley Golf Club: Drive through our long driveway and enter the clubhouse. Please check in at the Golf Service Centre, and the staff will direct you to the North Range where our lesson will take place.
Yarra Valley Golf Studio: I’ll meet you just outside the front entrance, 5 minutes before your lesson.
-
Don’t stress too much about outfits! While Spring Valley does have a dress policy, they’re very relaxed when it comes to beginners. Golf attire is great if you have it, but if not, just wear something comfortable with flat shoes. No need for golf shoes when you’re starting out.
-
No problem at all, we’ll provide everything you need to get started, so you can simply show up and enjoy the lesson. If you already own clubs, feel free to bring them along.

Yes! I use an app called CoachNow, which you’ll have access to after our session. It includes before-and-after videos of your swing, drills to practice, and notes on the changes we worked on together.
